Texas Rangers Finalize Opening Day Roster

The Texas Rangers finalized their Opening Day roster Wednesday, as the 2023 MLB season opens Thursday against the Philadelphia Phillies.

Texas Rangers general manager Chris Young finalized the Opening Day roster Wednesday afternoon, just a day before the 2023 MLB season starts against the Philadelphia Phillies.

First pitch at Globe Life Field is scheduled for 3:05 p.m. CT.

There were no true surprises, but the spring non-roster invitees who did make the team were utility man Travis Jankwoski and right-handed pitcher Ian Kennedy.
