Rangers Injury Report

C Jonah Heim (10-Day, left wrist tendon strain, July 28, retroactive to July 27, eligible to return Aug. 5): Heim injured the tendon while swinging the bat against Houston. He will be out for at least two to three weeks. There is encouraging news that Heim could play this season, perhaps serving as a hitter from the left side of the plate.

P Nathan Eovaldi (15-Day, right forearm strain, July 30, retroactive to July 27, eligible Aug. 5): The Rangers skipped Eovaldi’s start last week.

P Jacob deGrom (60-Day, right elbow inflammation): deGrom is out for the rest of the 2023 season after being diagnosed with a torn UCL ligament. He had surgery on June 12.

LHP Brett Martin (60-Day, shoulder surgery): Martin had surgery on Jan. 18 and is expected to miss most of the 2023 season.

RHP Jake Odorizzi (60-Day, right arm fatigue): Odorizzi underwent arthroscopic surgery on his shoulder and will miss the entire 2023 season.
