CC Sabathia Retires After 19 Seasons in MLB
While it’s been known all season that 2019 would be CC Sabathia’s last in MLB, the southpaw officially called it a career on Monday after leaving Game 4 of the ALCS with a shoulder injury. Sabathia finishes his 19-year career with 251 wins, six All-Star appearances, a Cy Young Award and led the Yankees to their last World Series title in 2009.
