Sports bettor Benjamin Tucker “Parlay” Patz, who just recently won $1 million dollars from gambling, faces federal charges for threatening players from the Rays and Blue Jays, among other professional athletes. In 2019, Patz sent threats against athletes and their family members via Instagram under anonymous accounts. Patz threatened to enter athletes' homes to commit acts of violence on their family members along with sending them racial and derogatory slurs.
