A New York judge ruled Friday that a letter sent by Major League Baseball commissioner Rob Manfred to the Yankees addressing the findings of a 2017 investigation into the team should be unsealed

In the wake of sign-sealing scandals in Houston and Boston, daily fantasy sports contestants brought this lawsuit against the Yankees alleging that sign-stealing may be detailed in this investigation as well. The Yankees argue the letter would cause “significant reputational injury.”

MLB and the Yankees may submit a minimally redacted version of the letter “to protect the identity of the individuals mentioned” by noon ET on Monday, though the Judge has ruled that the letter does not need to be made public until June 19 to allow time for the team to make an emergency appeal.
