Arizona Diamondbacks pitcher Madison Bumgarner is off to a slow start, averaging 88 miles per hour on his fastball, down from the 92 he was hitting last season. In his two starts the Diamondbacks have lost both games. While this isn't fully indicative of Bumgarner's pitching, it does reveal a unique situation pitchers will face in 2020.
