The Edmonton Oilers announced last week that they'll be launching a cheer team. In other words, they're going to hire cheerleaders. But this has some people up in arms. Actually, I should say this has a few people up in arms. An online petition to stop the Oilers from adding cheerleaders has a whopping 90 signatures. So it looks like we'll soon have some folks from the Oilers to add to galleries such as this one.
