Sneaker watch: NBA playoffs 2013

Only the best will suffice in the postseason. Rotations are shortened, contested shots are reconsidered and coaches narrow down their playbooks. The same applies to the sneakers, with players discarding well-worn regular-season shoes for fresh, postseason kicks. Some players use their sneaks as a canvas for expression (see Jeff Green and the BOSTONSTRONG hashtag he used during Game 1 of the Knicks-Celtics series or the STAY POSITIVE motto Kevin Durant scrawled on his shoes in the Thunder-Rockets series), while others just proudly sport their team colors.
