76ers vs. Bulls: Will James Harden Return Monday?

After missing Saturday's game, will James Harden take the court for the 76ers on Monday?

The Philadelphia 76ers added James Harden to their injury report ahead of their matchup against the Indiana Pacers over the weekend.

Although Harden didn’t seem to suffer any injuries during the Sixers’ Friday night win over the Charlotte Hornets, the team planned to give the star guard a night off.

Harden was ruled out due to injury management for his foot. As Harden suffered a tendon strain earlier in the year, which took him off the court for a month, the team has issued the star some rest now and then.

Saturday’s game was the second matchup Harden missed this month. Fortunately, he won’t sit out for two games in a row, as Harden was left off the injury report going into Philly’s Monday night matchup against the Chicago Bulls.

The Sixers might not be fully healthy on Monday night, as PJ Tucker is questionable with ankle soreness once again, but Harden’s presence will undoubtedly give the 76ers a boost.

Since the Sixers returned from the All-Star break, Harden has averaged 23 points, seven rebounds, and 11 assists while shooting 43 percent from the field and 40 percent from three.

As Harden and Joel Embiid remain healthy, they continue to thrive as a star duo on the court. Monday’s game will be another opportunity for Harden and Embiid to master their on-court chemistry before their playoff run.
