76ers vs. Hornets: Game Odds, Players To Watch

On Friday night, the Philadelphia 76ers take on the Charlotte Hornets, looking to build on their ongoing win streak, who should you keep an eye out for?

On Friday night, the Philadelphia 76ers take on the Charlotte Hornets as they look to extend their six-game win streak.

In their last time out, the Sixers took on the Cleveland Cavaliers in another match that came down to the wire.

As something that seems almost normal as of late, Joel Embiid led the team in scoring, putting up 36 points on 63 percent shooting from the field while also grabbing 18 rebounds and blocking four shots on the defensive end.

While the MVP candidate performed astonishingly well, so did James Harden, who scored 28 points while gifting his teammates 12 assists.

One player who was missing on Wednesday night was Jalen McDaniels, who sat out with a right hip contusion, which could carry over into the matchup against his former team as he's expected to sit out.

On the other side of the ticket sits the Charlotte Hornets, who come into Friday night's match off of a loss to the Cavaliers on Tuesday night, thanks partly to strong performances from Caris Levert and Evan Mobley.

Lamelo Ball, Mark Williams, and Cody Martin are all listed as out for Friday night's match.

Players To Watch:

Sixers: Joel Embiid

Embiid finds himself as the player to watch as each remaining game is crucial for his MVP race, having recently been pitted at the pole position for the award.

Over the previous week, Embiid has been averaging 37 points on 61 percent shooting while also grabbing ten rebounds per game, helping his team pull out some difficult victories.

Hornets: Terry Rozier

Terry Rozier finds himself as the Hornets' player to watch due to his increase in scoring opportunities since Ball's injury earlier in the season.

Over the previous five games, Rozier is averaging 23 points per game while also dishing out eight assists. This is without mentioning that during their previous meetings this season, Rozier has found success against Philadelphia, combining for 51 points across the two matches.
