76ers vs. Mavericks: Game Odds, Players to Watch

On Wednesday, the Philadelphia 76ers return to the Wells Fargo Center as they take on the Dallas Mavericks, looking to snap a three-game losing streak.

On Wednesday, the Philadelphia 76ers return to the Wells Fargo Center as they take on the Dallas Mavericks, looking to snap a three-game losing streak.

Following their win in Chicago last week, the Sixers went up against title contenders in the Golden State Warriors, Phoenix Suns, and most recently, the Denver Nuggets.

Monday's match in the Mile High City was a tough one for Philadelphia as they went into it without both Joel Embiid and James Harden, leaving Tyrese Maxey to soak up the scoring opportunities.

The third-year-guard put up 29 points on 57 percent shooting which was a team-high, with Tobias Harris and Paul Reed trailing behind with 16 points each, which wasn't enough to overcome the efforts from Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray, and Bruce Brown as the Nuggets' trio combined for 62 points.

Embiid and Harden could remain out for Wednesday night's match as the two are listed as questionable, with the Cameroonian center suffering from tightness in his right calf and The Beard suffering from soreness in his left Achilles.

On the other side of the ticket sits the Dallas Mavericks, who come into Wednesday night off of a win against the Indiana Pacers.

Luka Doncic and Jaden Hardy combined for 45 points, with Kyrie Irving playing a bit of a quieter role with 16 points and six assists on Monday night.

Jason Kidd will only have to plan around the injuries of Maxi Kleber, who is listed as questionable with injury recovery, and Frank Ntilikina, who is listed as out with a right knee sprain.

Players to Watch:

Sixers: Tyrese Maxey

The 22-year-old has been in impeccable form recently, averaging 23 points since the beginning of March, stepping it up to 26 over the previous week.

In his last time out against his hometown team, Maxey dropped 29 points on 57 percent shooting, finishing the game as Philadelphia's second-highest scorer.

Mavericks: Luka Doncic

Fans should keep their eyes on the MVP candidate as he has been playing some incredible stuff since coming back from an injury, averaging 32 points, ten assists, and nine rebounds.

Doncic had a statement game against the Sixers in early March, dropping 42 points en route to a Mavericks victory.
