Bucks’ Patrick Beverley Links Former 76er to Eastern Conference Team

In this story:
At the 2024 NBA trade deadline, the Philadelphia 76ers were busy wheeling and dealing with several teams, shaking up their roster. After making four trades on the day of the deadline, the Sixers parted ways with several veterans.
In a deal with the Milwaukee Bucks, the Sixers sent Patrick Beverley packing. Since the outspoken two-way standout has left Philly, he’s been the one revealing where his former Sixers teammates might sign next via the Pat Bev Podcast.
Beverley’s first scoop was about the Philly-born forward Marcus Morris. In the Sixers’ three-team deal with the Indiana Pacers and the San Antonio Spurs, the Sixers sent Morris’s contract to the rebuilding Spurs. As expected, San Antonio moved on before he ever got there.
A few days later, the Pat Bev Podcast reported that Morris was “leaning towards” signing with the Minnesota Timberwolves. While that scenario has yet to come to life, Morris hasn’t gained much traction elsewhere.
Danuel House is the latest former Sixers veteran to get an update from the Pat Bev Podcast X account. According to the veteran guard, House is currently “weighing his options between several Eastern Conference contenders.”
The Atlanta Hawks were the only team specifically mentioned in the report.

House signed with the Sixers two summers ago, joining the free agency class of PJ Tucker and James Harden. At the time, it was clear the Sixers were bringing on some of the notable reserves from the Harden Houston era.
House inked a two-year deal with the Sixers, with the second season being a player option. Heading into the 2023-2024 NBA season, House accepted the option, planning to give it another go in Philadelphia under Nick Nurse.
With 34 appearances, House averaged 15 minutes off the bench for Philly. He put up just four points per game while knocking down 30 percent of his threes. House’s athleticism and hustle were appreciated by the Sixers, but it was becoming clear that he was unlikely to garner a role in the rotation when the team was fully healthy.
The Sixers dealt House away to the Detroit Pistons. It was a financial move that led the rebuilding Pistons to waive House and allow him to hit the free agency market.
Being in the league since 2016, House has had stints in Washington, Phoenix, Houston, New York, Utah, and Philadelphia. His next move is unclear but could be revealed any day now.
