Raptors' Injury Issues Could Help Sixers Snap Ugly Road Record vs. Toronto

Will the hot streak continue for the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday? History will say no, considering the opponent and the location of the game. On Sunday, the Sixers wrapped up three-straight home games with glowing victories and now traveled up to Toronto to visit the team that knocked them out of the playoffs just last season.
After the way the Sixers went out last year, it shouldn't come as a surprise that this game means a lot to a select few players on the roster. However, for the Raptors, they most likely aren't as worried about the second-round playoff rematch as much as Philly may be.
For starters, the man who shattered the Sixers' dreams and sent Joel Embiid to the locker room sobbing is no longer a part of the Raptors' roster. And as of the late injury report, a couple of hours before tip-off, it turns out the Raptors will be without a handful of key players as well.
RAPTORS injuries vs PHI: Lowry (distal phalanx fracture), Ibaka (ankle sprain), Johnson (groin), Hernandez (thumb sprain), McCaw (knee surgery) and Thomas (distal phalanx fracture) are all OUT.

Matt Thomas, Serge Ibaka, Dewan Hernandez, Patrick McCaw, and Kyle Lowry have all been ruled out for the Monday night matchup against the Sixers. While the injury report doesn't guarantee a win for the Sixers, it definitley helps them out a lot as they look to snap an ugly regular-season losing streak on the road in Toronto.
For whatever reason, the Sixers do not have the greatest track record when it comes to playing at Scotiabank Arena. For the last 13 regular season matchups on the road in Toronto, the Sixers have failed to win. Their last victory against the Raptors while playing away in the regular season? It happened in November of 2012.
Most recently, the Sixers battled the Raptors on the road twice last season in October and December. Obviously, the Raptors came out on top, defeating the Sixers twice with a point differential of 28. At the very least, the Sixers were able to pick up some wins on the road during last year's playoff series, but that wasn't able to reset the streak. Perhaps with all of the advantages, the Sixers can snap the 13-game losing streak on Monday night.
