Khris Middleton reaches 12,000 points, nears no. 3 on the franchise's all-time scoring list

Khris Middleton appears to be finally healthy and in rhythm as he registered season-highs in points and assists during Wednesday night's 144-122 win over the Brooklyn Nets. The crafty two-guard had 27 points and ten assists and reached a career milestone, scoring his 12,000th career point, putting him closer to no. 3 on the list of the franchise's all-time top scorers.
Nearing Glenn Robinson's position
With 12,005 (11,840 in a Bucks' uniform as he scored 165 points during his rookie season with the Detroit Pistons) points to his name, Middleton is nearing Glenn Robinson's no. 3 position. During the span of eight seasons, Robinson accumulated an impressive total of 12,010 points. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar holds the second spot with 14,211 points. However, it is Antetokounmpo who sits at the pinnacle of the list, reigning supreme with a staggering 17,205 points to his name.

Feeling good these days
When appraised of the feat, Middleton was surprised but nonetheless proud of the personal milestone.
"Still got a long way to get up to Dame, but I'm proud of myself for that," Middleton said after the game.
Middleton was on a minutes restriction early in the season as he tried to get back to 100 percent following knee surgery in the offseason. However, he has cleared the 30-minute mark in his last three games, and the veteran said he feels he already has his legs back from up under him.
"Been feeling good as of late. My legs are coming back," Middleton shared.
