Cavaliers vs. Warriors Prediction, Odds and Best NBA Prop Bets for Thursday, April 2

In this story:
Donovan Mitchell and the Cleveland Cavaliers are within striking distance of a top-three seed in the Eastern Conference, sitting just 1.5 games behind the New York Knicks with six games to play.
Now, Cleveland is set as a road favorite on Thursday night against a Golden State Warriors team that is without Steph Curry and playing the second night of a back-to-back.
Curry is planning to return on Sunday against the Houston Rockets if all goes well with his knee rehab, putting the Warriors in a tough spot on Thursday without him.

Golden State is just 13-24 without Curry this season after losing to the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday.
The Cavs are coming off a loss to the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday, but they have dominated teams that are under .500 this season, going 21-6. Can they add to that total on Thursday?
Here’s a breakdown of the odds, a player to watch in the prop market and my prediction for this matchup.

Cavaliers vs. Warriors Best NBA Prop Bets
Cavs Best NBA Prop Bet
- Evan Mobley OVER 7.5 Rebounds (-150)
This could be a bounce-back game for Evan Mobley, who was one of four players in today’s NBA best props column at SI Betting:
Cleveland Cavaliers big man Evan Mobley failed to clear this rebound prop in his last game against the Los Angeles Lakers, but he has eight or more boards in 11 of his last 15 games, averaging 9.8 rebounds in the month of March.
Mobley is averaging 8.9 rebounds per game this season, and I love Thursday’s matchup for him against the Golden State Warriors.
Golden State just allowed 18 rebounds to Victor Wembanyama on Wednesday, and the Warriors are 23rd in the NBA in rebound percentage this season.
Mobley had 10 rebounds in just over 35 minutes in his first meeting with Golden State in the 2025-26 campaign.
Cavaliers vs. Warriors Prediction and Pick
The Cavaliers have been awful against the spread this season, but I like them to win this game against Golden State on Thursday.
The Warriors are now 13-24 straight up without Steph Curry in the lineup, and they are an NBA-worst 3-7 against the spread when set as home underdogs.
The Cavs have a chance to gain some ground in the East with a win, as the New York Knicks have dropped three of four games, putting Cleveland just 1.5 games out of the No. 3 seed.
Golden State’s offense has fallen off a cliff without Curry (averaging just 109.2 points per game), and it is on short rest after losing to San Antonio on Wednesday.
Over their last 10 games, the Warriors are just 20th in the NBA in net rating (-7.2), making them a tough team to trust to cover against a potential title contender.
Pick: Cavs -10.5 (-105 at DraftKings)
