GAME DAY PREVIEW AND INJURY REPORT: The Milwaukee Bucks look to add to their win streak in a marquee matchup with the Phoenix Suns

The Milwaukee Bucks (42-17) are set to host the Phoenix Suns (33-28) in a 2021 Finals rematch this Sunday afternoon.

Game preview

The red-hot Bucks are currently riding a league-best 13-game winning streak, but keeping it up will be challenging, as the Western Conference representatives Phoenix Suns are coming to town.

The newest NBA superteam is not yet at full strength with Kevin Durant still out, but likely to return soon. Albeit, this Suns team still has firepower. Led by the backcourt duo of Devin Booker and Chris Paul, mixed with the young Deandre Ayton in the middle, this is still a formidable team even without their #1 star.

After a sluggish first half of the season, Phoenix has started to turn it around, revamping their roster and winning 7 out of their last ten games to get into the race for the top seeds in the West. Still, their poor 12-18 away record might indicate they won't be the favourites in this matchup.

The Bucks will likely be without Giannis Antetokounmpo, but with all the players that have returned and been brought on the roster, this squad won’t have trouble making up the Greek Freak's impact and stepping up.

Jrue Holiday and Khris Middleton have been great lately, and with the help of their supporting cast, they could make it 14 straight wins and prolong this incredible run that is keeping them alive in the hunt for the #1 seed in the Eastern Conference.

Injury report

The Bucks will be without Wesley Matthews (right calf strain), while Giannis Antetokounmpo is doubtful to play with a right quad contusion.

The Suns will be without Kevin Durant (knee) and Landry Shamet (foot).
