The Milwaukee Bucks take the floor for the second straight night as they take on the Chicago Bulls eyeing a crucial win on Wednesday night.

The Bucks, who triumphed over the Washington Wizards on Tuesday night, 140-128, are gunning for a win that will allow them to formally secure the top seed in the Eastern Conference.

Giannis Antetokounnmpo completed his sixth triple-double in the season when he led the Bucks over the Wizards with 28 points, 11 rebounds, and ten assists.

Going for the number seed

Milwaukee will come into the match with an NBA-best 57-22 record. They hold a three-game lead over the Boston Celtics, who are 54-22. The Celtics will be hosting the Toronto Raptors also on Tuesday night.

A win by Milwaukee will allow them to lock up the number one seed in the East, as the most win that Boston can get, even if they sweep their remaining games, will be at 57.

Milwaukee is 2-1 against Chicago this season. The Bulls won their first meeting on November 23rd, 118-113, before the Bucks took the next two games, winning on December 28th in overtime, 119-113, and on February 16th, 112-100.

The Bulls lost at home to the Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday night, 123-105, but still managed to secure a play-in berth after the Orlando Magic lost to the Cleveland Cleveland Cavaliers on the same night.

The Bulls are 10th in the East with a 38-41 record. Milwaukee has been terrific at home, where it has gone 31-8 in the season. The Bulls hold a 17-22 away record.

Injury report

Grayson Allen (ankle) is out for the Bucks, while Jevon Carter (knee), Khris Middleton (knee injury management), and Pat Connaughton (ankle) are listed day-to-day.

The Bulls’ Lonzo Ball (knee) is out for the season.
