Damian Lillard says the Milwaukee Bucks' ball movement was on point vs. the New Orleans Pelicans: "We kind of just played for each other"

The spotlight has been on the Milwaukee Bucks lately after the team fired head coach Adrian Griffin and replaced him with veteran coach Doc Rivers. Despite the media frenzy surrounding the squad, the Bucks locked in on both ends of the floor and beat down the New Orleans Pelicans, 141-117, on Saturday.
After the game, Bucks superstar Damian Lillard raved about his team's ball movement, which he said led to better looks for everyone. As a result, the Bucks went 20-of-45 from long distance, which was a critical factor in the blowout victory.
Did the little things
The Bucks are one of the league's best three-point shooting teams, thanks to the presence of feared snipers like Lillard, Malik Beasley, and Khris Middleton. The team ranks fifth and sixth in three-pointers made and percentage, respectively. However, Lillard noted that, at times, the team doesn't necessarily do what must be done on the offensive end.
"We're a team with a lot of shooters, and sometimes we depend on our ability to make threes instead of doing the things that generate quality threes. I think in a game like tonight, we came out, our pace was really good, we got stops, and we were able to get out and run and not play against a set defense," Lillard, who had 26 points, nine assists, and six rebounds, shared.

Unselfish ball movement
The Bucks' offense is a huge reason why they're standing near the top of the Eastern Conference standings. The team ranks second in both points scored per game and offensive rating, underscoring their ability to move the ball and score efficiently.
"We had a lot more moments when we made the extra pass. We kind of just played for each other, and we got so many shooters on our team, and when we play that way and when we move the ball that way, we're going to get quality looks, and we're going to make a high percentage of them more nights than not," Lillard added.
