Giannis Antetokounmpo had himself a night when he powered the Milwaukee Bucks to a 113-97 win over the Chicago Bulls.

With the wire-to-wire victory, Antetokounmpo became the winningest player in Milwaukee history as he pocketed his 489th win since the Bucks selected him as the 15th overall pick in the 2013 NBA Draft. Giannis overtook Hall of Famer Sidney Moncrief, who recorded 488 wins from 1979-1989.

Giannis achieved the feat in his 778th game, the most games played by a player in the franchise. Moncrief played 695 games for the Bucks.

Giannis joins rare company

In leading Milwaukee to the win, Giannis shot 72 percent from the field and finished with 46 points on top of 16 rebounds and six assists. The Greek Freak became just the fifth player in NBA history to record 45+ points, 15+ rebounds, and five assists on 70 percent shooting.

The other players to achieve the feat are Wilt Chamberlain, who did it thrice, Walt Bellamy, Bob McAdoo, and Joel Embiid.

Extra efficient

For this season, Giannis has logged a league-high 23 games where he scored 30 or more points while shooting 60 percent or better from the field. The last player to achieve that feat was Shaquille O'Neal, who did it while playing for the Orlando Magic in the 1994-95 season.

Giannis has been responsible for the Bucks' strong effort since the All-Star break. Milwaukee is 5-0 since the break, with the two-time MVP averaging 31.0 points per game in that stretch.

Milwaukee's current streak is the longest under coach Doc Rivers, who went 3-7 in his first ten games with the Bucks.
