In this story:
Khris Middleton played his 696th game in a Milwaukee uniform on Friday night, pushing him to the third spot for the most games played in Bucks history.
In Milwaukee’s 100-112 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers, Middleton overtook Sidney Moncrief, who played 695 games in ten seasons with the Bucks. Giannis Antetokounmpo leads the list with 762 games and is followed by Junior Bridgeman, who played 711 games in ten seasons with Milwaukee.

Back in tip-top shape
With Khris back in harness following an offseason knee surgery, he is expected to overtake Bridgeman on the list. Giannis and Khris are the only active Milwaukee players to be on the Top 10 list for most games played as a Bucks player.
Middleton was hobbled by knee issues last season, where he only played 33 regular-season games. For this season, Khris has been relatively healthy and has already played 39 games.
An efficient contributor
Khris is still under a minutes restriction but has been an efficient contributor this season. Middleton is only averaging 26.1 minutes per game but is putting up solid numbers with averages of 14.9 points, 4.3 rebounds, 5.0 assists, 0.9 steals, and 0.3 blocks per game.

Interestingly, Middleton played the longest minutes this season in that 12-point loss to the Cavaliers on Friday. Middleton played for 36 minutes in the loss and finished with 14 points, eight rebounds, and eight assists.
Khris then skipped Milwaukee’s game against the New Orleans Pelicans on Saturday as the Bucks were on a back-to-back. Sitting the back end of a back-to-back has been a common occurrence for Middleton this season as part of knee injury management.
