Free-agent point guard Donald Sloan is headed to China to play for the Jiangsu Dragons, according to a report from Sportando.
Sloan is a well-traveled veteran who spent last season with Guangdong, also of the CBA, where he averaged 20.4 points and 6.8 assists.
Sloan is 6-foot-3 and went undrafted out of Texas A&M in 2010. He then spent some time in the G-League and overseas before latching on with the Atlanta Hawks in 2011.
He last appeared in the NBA in 2015-16 with the Brooklyn Nets. He did spent a portion of last season with the Texas Legends of the G-League.
Sloan, 30, carries NBA career averages of 5.5 points and 3.0 assists in 218 total games. He was in training camp with the Denver Nuggets before getting waived in October.
