Cavs' preseason schedule down to six

The NBA doesn’t require its teams to play preseason games, and the Cavaliers are taking advantage of that fact by playing less.
Released Wednesday, the Cavs' preseason schedule consists of six games. That's down from eight in most previous seasons.
But less is clearly more in the NBA preseason -- mostly viewed as a nuisance to players who already have a spot on the team.
The world champion Cavs will not return to Cincinnati this preseason, but will play their usual exhibition at Ohio State. Three games are scheduled for Quicken Loans Arena.
Ticket sales for preseason games will be announced later this month.
The NBA's 2016-17 regular-season schedule is expected to be released to the public within the next week. Television partners already have a copy.
Below is the entire Cavs' preseason schedule, with times and TV information.
