Indiana Pacers swingman Glenn Robinson III is expected two miss two months with a severe ankle sprain, according to a report from ESPN.

Robinson, 23, is 6-foot-6 and averaged career-highs of 6.1 points and 3.6 rebounds in 69 games with the Pacers last season, his third as a pro.

He suffered the injury in practice, ESPN reported, "crumbling to the floor after a drive to the basket."

Per Hoops Rumors: "Despite the setback, this season could still mark a new opportunity for the son of Purdue University legend Glenn Robinson Jr. If the youngest Robinson can at least hit the ground running when he returns, he could still piece together a solid campaign from Thanksgiving Day on now that incumbent starter George has moved on to Oklahoma City."
