The Boston Celtics have signed forward Ron Harper Jr. ahead of the new season.

The Boston Celtics are signing Ron Harper Jr. to a two-way NBA contract, agent Drew Gross of WME Basketball tells ESPN. Harper earns Celtics roster spot and enters a fourth NBA season after having strong preseason.

Harper Jr. is the son of NBA champion Ron Harper. The elder Harper won titles with the Chicago Bulls and the Los Angeles Lakers.
