On Thursday, the Boston Celtics secured a 127-112 victory against the Phoenix Suns. Jaylen Brown scored a game-high 37 points on 14-for-23 shooting from the field.

Per Inside The Celtics, Joe Mazzulla praised Brown’s performance on both offense and defense.

"Man, he's playing so well. Both ends of the floor... Just processing the game... Everything with him starts with his defensive intensity. I think guarding one of the other team's best players... is what gets him going... It's a different layer for our team when he's aggressive. Getting to the free-throw line... It's fun to watch."

Mazzulla suggested that Brown’s defensive approach has transferred to his offense.

“I think just not being defined by one particular thing. Just moving on to the next play because you have an ability to make an impact on the next play… His attention to detail defensively is what helps him offensively, and he’s taking full ownership of that.”

Boston's next game is scheduled for Sunday, Mar. 17, against the Washington Wizards at Capital One Arena; tip-off is at 6:00 p.m. EST.
