While the Boston Celtics don't have any open roster spots after signing Svi Mykhailiuk and Lamar Stevens and filling their final two-way vacancy with the addition of Neemias Queta, with training camps starting shortly, there's a flurry of activity throughout the league.

Teams are working to intensify the competition for their final open roster spots and bring in players they want to add to their G League affiliate.

The Los Angeles Clippers have signed a player both statements apply to, inking former Celtic Brodric Thomas to an Exhibit 10 deal, per Law Murray of The Athletic.

The Truman State University alum has appeared in 44 NBA games, including 12 with Boston during the 2021-22 campaign. The six-foot-five guard has registered career averages of 3.3 points, 1.4 rebounds, and nearly an assist per contest in 10.4 minutes of floor time in his two NBA seasons.

While Thomas did not play in the Association in 2022-23, he suited up for the Clippers at Summer League, producing 8.4 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game and impressing Los Angeles enough to earn a training camp invitation and the chance to continue his NBA journey.
