Jaylen Brown Returns to Celtics Practice

In this story:
Jaylen Brown averaged 26.6 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game this season, all career highs. He earned his second All-Star Game selection and might make an All-NBA team.
But Brown's regular season came to an end two games early due to a right-hand laceration. Ahead of the Celtics' 121-102 win over the Raptors last Friday, he said he cut it picking up a glass vase he knocked over while watering his plants, requiring five stitches.
Sunday, ahead of Boston's 120-114 victory vs. the Hawks in the regular-season finale, Celtics' president of basketball operations, Brad Stevens, provided the following update on Brown's shooting hand.
"I think he'll be practicing by (the) middle to the end of (the) week and be fine. We're ok there."
After Tuesday's practice at the Red Auerbach Center, head coach Joe Mazzulla said of the two-time All-Star's hand injury, "It's getting better; he wasn't able to practice today, but he was out there for everything. Still, no restrictions heading into Game 1."
Thursday, this year's Red Auerbach Award winner returned to practice, sporting a small wrap near his right index finger, as captured by Chris Forsberg of NBC Sports Boston.

Mazzulla said Brown went through practice without any limitations, as did the rest of the team, an ideal development two days before the Celtics host Atlanta in Game 1 of their first-round matchup.
