The Boston Celtics got back in the win column Wednesday night.

Boston entered its tilt against the Cavaliers after falling against the New York Knicks on Monday but were able to rebound with an impressive 117-113 win over Cleveland.

One of the biggest reasons for Boston's success against Cleveland certainly was the play of young star forward Jayson Tatum. The 24-year-old shined Wednesday as he tallied 41 points, 11 rebounds, and eight assists. Tatum either led the team or was tied for the team lead in all three categories.

Tatum had been struggling of late offensively, but broke out in a major way Wednesday and hilariously described his process after the big win.

"Not listening to you guys when I play bad," Tatum said as seen on NBC Sports Boston in reference to media chatter after tough play. "It's a long season, you know 82 games. No body has a great day of work every day of the year. Everybody has bad days, I guess but you've got to take the good days with the bad days. I never get too high and I never get too low. Regardless of what happens, you can't change it."

Tatum shined for Boston on Wednesday night and the team certainly will need plenty more of that from him if it wants to eventually make a run back to the NBA Finals.

The young Boston star has taken a massive leap forward and has cemented himself as one of the best players in all of basketball. Big man Al Horford said it best when he said Tatum is the last person he is worried but it's nice to see him explode for a big scoring night in an important win.
