As captured by the Pat Bev Podcast, Patrick Beverley doesn’t believe Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown will win a championship together. The Philadelphia 76ers guard expressed that the duo is too similar in playing styles.

“No – too much of the same player… They don’t complement each other enough. They complement each other, but not enough.”

Beverley gave his suggestions to improve the Boston Celtics’ roster and noted that their addition of Kristaps Porzingis is a step in the right direction.

“You don’t get rid of anything, just add. Add a defensive point guard, add a 3-and-D guy, add shot-blocker, stretch-five… With Porzingis, you guys will be a lot better."

With a lineup featuring Tatum and Brown, the Celtics made three Eastern Conference Finals appearances over the last four seasons. Both players earned an All-NBA Team selection last season.
