Clippers Announce Kawhi Leonard's Final Status vs. Grizzlies

In this story:
After missing Wednesday night's game vs. the Memphis Grizzlies due to personal reasons, LA Clippers star Kawhi Leonard will be back in the starting lineup on Friday night. The Clippers have a rematch with the Grizzlies in this one, but both sides will be at much fuller strength than they were in their previous meeting on Wednesday.
For the Clippers, they are of course getting their best player back, and for the Grizzlies, they will be getting a plethora of guys back. Missing Jaren Jackson Jr., Desmond Bane, and Tyus Jones on Wednesday, the Grizzlies will be getting these three key pieces back for this game tonight.
While it was personal reasons that held Leonard out on Wednesday, there was the possibility that the Clippers could keep him out for injury management purposes for tonight's game, as they play the Pelicans tomorrow in New Orleans. Leonard was recently asked if he plans on playing any back to back this season, and said, "We'll see."
If Leonard is not yet cleared to play in back to back games, that means he will be out tomorrow against the Pelicans. It’s been hard for the Clippers to decide what games make the most sense for Kawhi Leonard to play in when it comes to back to backs, and this particular instance is no exception. As for right now, the star forward is available and playing on Friday night, and the team will deal with tomorrow’s game at the appropriate time.
