Injury Report: Paul George's Game 2 Status vs. Suns

In this story:
LA Clippers star Paul George has officially been ruled out for Game 2 vs. the Phoenix Suns. George is continuing to rehab his sprained knee, but a return during the first round remains unlikely. While George is not expected to return at any point during the first round, the star forward has been continuously rehabbing both on and off the court.
Before the Clippers held shoot-around on Tuesday morning, George was out on the court going through a high-intensity mobility and shooting workout. George was moving laterally and getting shots up off the dribble. This was encouraging to see, as the majority of George’s previous workouts - at least those open to the media, had been primarily stand-still shooting drills.

George has been open on his podcast about his rehab, and is doing all he can to make it back at some point this season. The Clippers did well to steal Game 1 from Phoenix, and will look to get greedy on Tuesday with a Game 2 victory as well.
With the second round currently expected to be the earliest possible return date for George, the Clippers are doing all they can to extend their playoff run long enough to get him back. Winning two games in Phoenix would go a long way towards making that a real possibility, and the Clippers will look to make that happen on Tuesday night.
