Jonathan Kuminga Reveals Advice From Kawhi Leonard

In this story:
Jonathan Kuminga has been a real bright spot for the Golden State Warriors this season, playing himself into the rotation after limited minutes in his rookie year. With the Warriors leaning even further into their "two timeline" plan this past summer, it was clear that Kuminga would have an opportunity to earn a larger role, and he has done exactly that.
Appearing in 52 games for the Warriors this season, Kuminga is averaging 9.1 PPG on 50.4% from the field in 20.2 minutes per contest. His minutes are up from just 16.9 per game last season, and a lot of them have come in bigger moments as well. Hoping to be a key piece to Golden State's title defense, Kuminga recently received some advice from LA Clippers star and two-time Finals MVP Kawhi Leonard.
"He don't really talk," Kuminga said of Leonard. "The first time I ever heard him talk was yesterday. I dapped him and he was like, 'Keep working and stay healthy.' That's it."
Did Kawhi Leonard say anything/give advice to Kuminga yesterday?

Kuminga was asked if Leonard is a player he would like to model himself after, and while Kuminga admitted that Leonard is great, he added that he wants to be unique rather than modeling himself after anyone. This is a great mindset for the young Warriors forward to have, because his skillset does project to be unlike so many others around the league.
