The LA Clippers are set to face the San Antonio Spurs for the second straight game, and they will again have Kawhi Leonard available. The Clippers do not have Leonard listed on the injury report for this game, meaning he will play.

Leonard has played in every game for the Clippers this season, which was something he spoke about on media day when asked about the NBA’s new player participation policy. With many feeling that players like Leonard were being targeted with the new policy, the Clippers star made it clear that no policy would impact the way he approached games, since he only took games off for injury reasons in the first place.

Now fully healthy, Leonard is backing up those words from media day, and has played in every single game so far this season. While the Clippers do not have a great record, especially considering they have been relatively healthy to start the year, there have been a lot of moving pieces that the team is just now starting to sort out. Having Leonard available throughout this process has been big for the Clippers, and should go a long way towards helping them establish an identity sooner rather than later this season.

Having defeated the Spurs twice already this season, the Clippers will look to continue their dominance over Leonard’s former team. The Spurs are currently the worst team in the Western Conference, and one the Clippers should beat.
