Key Player Receives Injury Update Before Clippers vs. Knicks Game

In this story:
The LA Clippers have been without sixth-man Norman Powell for the last three games, as he suffered a left shoulder subluxation in a loss to the Golden State Warriors on March 2nd. On Friday morning, the Clippers gave an update on Powell, saying he will miss at least one more week as he continues treatment and therapy on his shoulder.
Powell's next reevaluation will come one week from today, and that will likely determine when exactly he can return. The Clippers only have 14 games remaining, so they will have limited time to reintegrate Powell when he is ready to return.
While Powell's injury often requires a multi-week absence, he was getting a high intensity individual workout in at practice earlier this week, and looked to be making some great progress.

The Clippers will face the New York Knicks on Saturday afternoon, who may be down a key player themselves, as Jalen Brunson exited Thursday night's loss to the Sacramento Kings with a foot injury. Outside of Powell, the Clippers are expected to be fully healthy.
Powell being evaluated on a week-to-week basis is somewhat encouraging, as he has not been ruled out multiple weeks in advance. An incredibly hard worker, Powell is doing all he can to get back on the court as soon as possible. Already taking part in on-court workouts, he seems to be making good progress, and will be reevaluated in one week.
