Paul George and Ty Lue Reveal New Injury Updates on Kawhi Leonard

In this story:
LA Clippers star Kawhi Leonard has missed the last four games with a left hip contusion, and there has been very little information on the severity of the injury or how he is progressing. The team has continued to list Leonard as questionable for each game since the injury was suffered on December 20th vs. the Dallas Mavericks, and Ty Lue has maintained that Leonard is day-to-day.
Before Friday night's game vs. the Memphis Grizzlies, this was the extent of what was known about Leonard's injury, but some additional updates were provided by both Lue and Paul George.
Speaking with the media before the game, Lue revealed that Leonard first suffered the injury against the Utah Jazz on December 8th, played through it, and re-aggravated it during that December 20th game against the Mavericks.
"It's the same hip, I think he fell on it - I can't remember the game it was. Utah, yeah. He aggravated it then, played through it, then the Dallas game just kinda took it over the top," Lue said.
Lue added that Leonard did not participate in Thursday's practice, but did workout after practice.
Following Friday's win over the Grizzlies, Paul George was asked about Leonard, and said, "We know it’s gonna take some time for Kawhi to get back into the lineup… It’s not something that’s surprising going into the game or going into shootaround. We gotta hold it down for when he comes back."

When asked if this is concerning, George said, "We're hopeful. He's looking good. He's looking better and better. But again, we know it's nothing serious. He's gonna get through it when his body is back to where it needs to be."
This is the most information that has come out about Leonard's injury, and while it isn't much, it adds some details to what has been an unclear situation.
