Still learning the point guard position at the NBA level, LA Clippers guard Terance Mann has studied under some of the best to ever do it. Teammates with Rajon Rondo, John Wall, and now Russell Westbrook, Mann shared this Tweet recently while reflecting on the great point guards he has learned from:

Mann also shouted out Patrick Beverley, Lou Williams, and Reggie Jackson in an additional Tweet, three other veterans who were very impactful to his growth as a player. When asked before Tuesday's practice about the advice he has received from his new teammate Russell Westbrook, Terance Mann spoke on the mental side of basketball that Westbrook has helped him with.

"Just mentality-wise," Mann said. "He helps me big time with that. Just not worrying about the last play. That relentless mentality of the next play is your best play. And I appreciate that from him."

One of the greatest point guards of all-time, Westbrook has been an incredible leader since coming to the Clippers. When asked recently about his role in Mann's development, Westbrook said, "It’s very important [to me]… My job is to make sure I stay on him and continue to give him confidence… I’m just here to help and make sure I can be a springboard to him doing great things."

The Westbrook addition has been great for the Clippers so far, and it protects to only get better.
