Updated Injury Report: Clippers vs. Grizzlies

In this story:
The LA Clippers are in desperation mode as they are set to face the shorthanded Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday night. Memphis will be without Ja Morant, Dillon Brooks, Steven Adams, and Brandon Clarke.
The big story is of course Morant’s availability, as he is currently away from the team after he was seen flashing a gun on Instagram live. Morant will miss at least this game against the Clippers and next game against the Lakers while the Grizzlies and the NBA decide on further action.
While the Grizzlies will have their injury report unchanged for this game, the Clippers have upgraded a key player from questionable to available. Starting center Ivica Zubac will play for the Clippers in this game after missing the last two games with a calf injury.
Zubac suffered the initial calf injury before the All-Star break, and missed time right after the break ended as well. While he did return in between then and this recent setback, it’s been the same calf that has caused him issues over the last few weeks.
The Clippers really struggle defensively without Zubac, so it is huge that they are getting him back for this important game. A loss would make it six-straight for the Clippers, which is something they simply cannot let happen against this shorthanded Grizzlies group. There is a lot the team needs to do in order to get their season back on track, and a win in this game is a start.
