Atlanta Hawks Head Coach Quin Snyder On Trae Young's Injury: "You Hate It For Trae More Than Anything"

In this story:
The Hawks received some bad news today when it was announced that star point guard Trae Young would miss at least four weeks with an injury:
Here is the official injury update from Atlanta:
"During Friday’s game vs. Toronto, guard Trae Young suffered a left-hand injury. He underwent an MRI yesterday at the Emory Sports Medicine Complex, which revealed a tear of the radial collateral ligament (RCL) in the fifth finger of his left hand. He will undergo surgery to repair the RCL on Tuesday at the Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) in New York and will be re-evaluated in four weeks."
The Hawks are trying to earn a play-in tournament spot and Young's absence is going to hinder those efforts. First things first though, the Hawks must deal with the Orlando Magic tonight at home and before tonight's game, Hawks head coach Quin Snyder got to speak with the media for the first time since Young's injury and here is everything he had to say about it:
"You feel awful for Trae more than anything. We are hopeful that the recovery process will go quickly but sometimes there are certain things and it's hard to say the exact timeline on it, more than anything get him a full recovery and just knowing the competitor that he is and his history playing games, it is going to be a challenge for him not to be able to be out there and then you know I have said it before, this is... because of the timing and his role on the team... where we lost Jalen (Johnson), we have lost some guys, other teams lose guys and I think I may have mentioned last game, control what we can control and guys step up across the board and we have guys that are capable and prepared to do that and I believe in our team."
