Adjusting To Pressure Among Adjustments For Miami Heat Against Boston Celtics In Game 6

The Boston Celtics picked up their defensive pressure in Games 4 and 5 against Miami Heat

The Boston Celtics did solid defensive jobs against Miami Heat stars Bam Adebayo and Jimmy Butler in Games 4 and 5, allowing them to climb into the series.

Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said he pinpointed the reason why.

"Their activity has gone up the last two games," Spoelstra said. "That's what you have to expect in a competitive playoff series ... You have to give them credit for their activity. They jammed us up several times in the paint."

An adjustment wasn't made until the second half, By then, it was too late. The Celtics had already built a double-digit lead on the way to win a second straight game.

"In the second half, we had some more decisiveness with our on-the catch, on-the-dribble, things like that," Spoelstra said. "When teams step up with their pressure, that's what you have to be. You have to make quick decisions."
