NBA Analysts Chris Broussard, Nick Wright Pick Miami Heat To Fall In Conference Finals

Chris Broussard picks the Miami Heat to lose to the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference finals while Nick Wright says the Heat will fall to the Milwaukee Bucks

The Miami Heat are one month from beginning their defense of their Eastern Conference crown.

At least two  NBA analysts think the Heat will not make a return trip to the NBA Finals. Nick Wright and Chris Broussard of Fox Sports 1 believe the Heat will fall in the conference finals.

Wright picked the Milwaukee Bucks to knock off the Heat while Broussard thinks the Boston Celtics will represent the East in the Finals.

This will be the rubber match," Broussard said on an episode of First Things First. "They've faced each other the last two years in the conference finals, both seven games. Each team has won one. I think Boston gets them this year ... They've been the best team by a mile in the East this year."

Wright said the Heat will defeat the Celtics in the second round before falling to the Bucks. He pointed how superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo and guard Damian Lillard are finally on the same page. The Bucks acquired Lillard from the Portland Trail Blazers last offseason. They are among the league's best duos.

"I think Milwaukee is right now being a victim of expectations," Wright said. "Giannis is at worst the second-best player in the NBA and having maybe the best season of his career. Dame seems to be a little more comfortable."
