Miami Heat rookie Jaime Jaquez is officially a South Floridan.

Not because he's taken residence but he's already hung out with one of the area's most iconic figures. Jaquez was spotted with local legend Luther Campbell also known as "Uncle Luke."

The two appeared to be at the Rolling Loud festival in Miami. Campbell posted a photo of them on Twitter. The caption read: "OK @MiamiHeat Fans He's Official."

Jaquez was the No. 18 pick in the June NBA Draft after earning second-team All-American and Pac-10 Player of the Year honors as a senior at UCLA. He played in only two Summer League games before sustaining a shoulder injury against the Sacramento Kings. He had 22 points and three rebounds in his lone full game.

The Heat expect him to play both forward positions but he's also versatile enough to get some time at shooting guard.
