How Miami Heat’s Twitter Reacted To Wednesday’s Win Against The Cleveland Cavaliers Behind Kyle Lowry

The Miami Heat crushed the Cleveland Cavaliers to win their tenth game of the season.

Normally, we'd expect to hear Jimmy Butler or Bam Adebayo headlining a dominant victory like this, but instead it was veteran guard Kyle Lowry out of nowhere. In arguably his most impressive performance in Miami, Lowry opened up the game with a 15-point first quarter.

The production never stopped, as Lowry ended Wednesday night with 28 points on 7 of 9 shooting from 3-point range. Heat fans were pleased to see the veteran stepping up in the absence of stars Bam Adebayo and Tyler Herro.

It was Lowry's highest-scoring game in a Heat jersey, trailing only his 33 points against the Atlanta Hawks in the 2023 play-in tournament. 

The Cavaliers were without Donovan Mitchell, but Miami was missing Adebayo and Kevin Love. The bench essentially matched the starters' offensive production. Jaime Jaquez Jr. had 22 points, with Caleb Martin, Josh Richardson, and Orlando Robinson each putting up 14. Butler didn't have a star performance, but honestly it was more reassuring to see the team win in the midst of Butler having an average game.

"This might be the deepest Heat team," user HeatCulture said. "No Bam and Herro while Jimmy struggled and we still won by 33 on the road. 9-1 in our last 10 games and Spo deserves COTY. Keep it going!"

There was also love for former Heat sharpshooter Max Strus, who was critical in Miami's recent postseason runs.

The Heat play the New York Knicks (8-6) Friday night. Heat fans can enjoy their Thanksgiving fresh off a convincing victory.
