The key to Keep Your Million strategy is adjusting how much you allocate based on how confident you are in each Higher/Lower outcome. You don't need to split your virtual balance evenly every round.

Tip #1 - Adjust your wager sizes when confident

Say I have $500,000 remaining and choose a question asking whether an NFL quarterback will throw Higher or Lower than 275.5 passing yards.

Example 1: I could allocate $350,000 to Higher and $150,000 to Lower. If the quarterback finishes Higher, I keep $350,000 and take that balance into my next question. If he finishes Lower, I survive, but my new balance drops to $150,000.

Example 2: I could also go all-in and put the entire $500,000 on Higher. I'd preserve the full $500,000 if I'm correct, but I'd be eliminated if Lower wins.

That's what makes Keep Your Million more than simply trying to pick 20 winners. You control how much of your million you're willing to risk on every question. More balanced allocations can improve your chances of surviving, while aggressive allocations give you a better opportunity to reach the end with a substantial balance.

What I like most about Underdog Fantasy is that almost every time I open the app, I can invest in short- or long-term fantasy games. Season-long best ball contests run year-round, and Underdog's massive NFL Best Ball Mania VII contest is set to award $2M to first place this season. 

My list of favorite features on Underdog Fantasy include:

The Underdog Sports app has always been a mainstay for me. Even after taking a break from the season-long grind of NFL fantasy games, I'd still use the app for Pick'em lineups almost daily, or even enter the odd daily draft just because the draft process is so easy on mobile.

Underdog claims to provide 24/7 customer support; however, the support is limited to one or two options, neither of which is by phone. 

The live chat icon at the bottom of the page will connect you with a support agent. However, you'll need to go through an AI screening process for your issue before connecting, which can be time-consuming. You can also send an email, but I've found responses can take anywhere from a few hours to over a day.

✍ SI Expert analysis: I found Underdog support great for resolving small issues, usually a withdrawal that was 'stuck' or taking longer than normal. However, with larger problems that involved contest entry issues or payouts often they were far less helpful. This is an area I'd like to see them take more seriously in the future.

Underdog Fantasy typically requires a $10 minimum for both deposits and withdrawals. While most deposits are instant, all withdrawals undergo a standard review process that generally takes 48 to 72 hours before the funds are actually sent to your chosen method. Deposit Methods: Most deposit options allow you to start playing immediately. 

• Debit and credit cards: Visa and Mastercard cards can fund Underdog Predict; other supported cards may be available for fantasy products.

🏈 Drafts and Best Ball: Underdog made a major fantasy-availability change in September 2026. Starting Sept. 9th and 10th fantasy contests, including Best Ball Drafts, became unavailable in Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Mississippi, New Jersey, Ohio and Pennsylvania. Existing entries made before the cutoff continue to settle normally.

Oct. 7, 2026: Underdog's help center was updated this week to inform you that entries can now be automatically routed as Fantasy, Prediction, or Combo entries based on the picks selected. A single player pick can be a Prediction, while entries mixing Fantasy and Prediction picks are treated as Combos.

Sept. 8, 2026: Underdog has stopped offering fantasy contests in Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Mississippi, New Jersey, Ohio, and Pennsylvania as of Sept. 9–10. Underdog's own support page confirms the changes and says Underdog Predict picks remain available in several of those states.

August 2026: Underdog introduced a new welcome offer providing a 50% first-deposit match up to $1,000 in bonus funds. New users can also choose Keep Your Million as an alternative welcome offer, which starts players with a virtual $1 million to work through a series of player-pick questions.

July 30, 2026: IG Group announced a proposed acquisition of Underdog, a major development for the company as it expands beyond fantasy sports and further into regulated prediction markets.

• DraftKings Pick6: Unique because you compete against other users rather than the house, which can be easier or harder depending on the field.
• Sleeper Fantasy: Currently offers the largest total dollar amount for their welcome bonus, making it great for high-volume players.
