James Harden Should Follow Dwyane Wade's Playbook By Accepting No. 2 Role

In this story:
During his playing days, Miami Heat legend Dwyane Wade repeatedly spoke about his willingness to accept a No. 2 role while playing alongside LeBron James.
Wade realized James was the better player, which resulted in the Heat winning two titles. Philadelphia 76ers guard James Harden should take a similar approach because some feel he believes he is still a primary player.
Rachel Nichols drove home that point on Undisputed on Fox Sports 1 Thursday afternoon. She said Harden should accept being MVP Joel Embiid's sidekick because "he's not the player that he used to be."
“He thinks he should be leading the show," Nichols said. "The reason why he wanted out of Philadelphia in the first place is that it's the Joel Embiid show right now.”
"The person standing in the way of Harden getting traded right now is James Harden. It's the fact he has this attitude."

At 34, Harden is far older than when Wade began deferring to James. Embiid is a top five player in the league, so Harden should have no problem taking a secondary role if he wants to win a championship before his career ends.
