Kendrick Nunn Could Join Overseas Team After Struggling Since Leaving Miami Heat

In this story:
Kendrick Nunn was considered part of the Miami Heat's long line of turning developmental projects into rotation players.
But since leaving the Heat, Nunn has struggled to find a new NBA home. He is receiving interest from Olympiacos Piraeus in Greece while attempting to make a comeback.
Nunn was among the best stories in the league his rookie season in 2019-20. He finished second in the Rookie of the Year voting after starting most of the year in Miami, helping the Heat make the NBA Finals.

He averaged 15.3 points in 67 starts before a knee injury ruined his next season. Nunn then signed with the Los Angeles Lakers the following offseason. After an unproductive year, he was traded to the Washington Wizards.
Nunn has yet to come close to his accomplishments with the Heat, so hopefully a stint abroad could help his comeback cause. His ability to play both guard positions may help a contending NBA team.
