Stan Van Gundy Responds To Tyler Herro By Saying He's "Soft"

Former Miami Heat coach Stan Van Gundy says Tyler Herro is part of the soft players in this generation

The humorous spat between Miami Heat guard Tyler Herr and TNT analyst Stan Van Gundy had cooled.

Until Saturday.

During Thursday's Game 5, Van Gundy took a shot at Herro's clothes he wears on the bench. Herro then responded on Instagram by saying, "my "fashion" as bad as he was on the sideline."

Van Gundy is a former NBA coach, lastly with the New Orleans Pelicans in 2021. He spent a couple seasons with the Heat before he was replaced by Pat Riley. Before the Heat and Boston Celtics tipped off, Van Gundy was made aware of the comments. Van Gundy is calling tonight's game.

"Hold on now, that's mean," Van Gundy said. "Listen, some guys get real sensitive. Some of us can laugh at ourselves. Guys have gotten a little soft in this generation."
