The Golden State Warriors have been on top of the NBA for a decade for a reason.

The Warriors aren't quite ready to relinquish their perch and they showed it in Wednesday's 123-116 victory against the Sacramento Kings in Game 5. The defending champion Warriors lead the series 3-2 and are one victory from advancing to the Western Conference semifinals.

Guard Stephen Curry led the way with 31 points while Klay Thompson added 25. The Warriors got surprising offensive contribution from Draymond Green, who finished with 21 points, seven assists, four steals and four rebounds.

De'Aaron Fox led the Kings with 24 points and nine assists. The Kings are in the postseason for the first time in 16 years but need a victory Friday to keep their season alive.
