Miami Heat superstar Jimmy Butler had a season for the ages. The Heat’s social media posted some of these moments captured on camera.
Among these photos is the go-ahead shot in Game 5 of the first round and his 56-point performance in Game 4.
Hopefully, the Heat can capture more moments like these next season. Butler and the team aim to clinch a fourth franchise championship. But that starts with acquiring Portland Trail Blazers superstar Damian Lillard. While many fans marvel at Butler's superstar performances, they realize they were necessary because of the lack of contributions around him. Getting a superstar aside him, while adding quality depth to complement the starting lineup, can aid Butler in the long run.
Still though, it was nice to take a moment to re-live Butler's legendary postseason run and acknowledge his accomplishments. Recency bias has led some to discredit what he did this season, but Heat fans recognize his importance.
Who knows? Maybe Lillard will be in the same position next year, getting his own wallpapers to cap off a great postseason.
