Denver Nuggets Show Too Much Balance In Building 17-Point, First-Half Lead

In this story:
The Denver Nuggets have heard about how they are a one-man team all season.
But they are much more than center Nikola Jokic.
That was evident Thursday in the first half against the Miami Heat in Game 1 of the NBA Finals. Four of their starters scored in double-figures to help build a 59-42 lead at halftime.
Jamal Murray led the way with 18 points while Aaron Gordon had 14. Michael Porter Jr. and Jokic each had 10 points.
The Nuggets shot nearly 60 percent from the field, showing no signs of a team playing in the Finals for the first time. Most of the Heat players are at this stage for the second time in their careers, having made it here in 2020.
Bam Adebayo led the Heat with 16 points while guard Max Strus was 0 for 7 from the field.
