Miami Heat legend Dwyane Wade is about to reach the NBA pinnacle when he is inducted into the Hall of Fame next month in Springfield, Mass.

Still, he feels his health has improved since becoming a retiree in 2019. Wade recently spoke about it during an interview with CNBC

“I feel like I’m in better shape now than I was actually as a player,” Wade said. “I was very muscular, but I didn’t take care of my body in the way that I should’ve because I didn’t have the knowledge.

Wade said he keeps a similar routine from when was an active. He is set to become the Heat's drafted player to be inducted.

“No matter what time it is, I get up every day, I get downstairs and I get to work,” Wade said. “I feel like it’s good to get that heart rate up (and) challenge yourself in the gym.”
